Mackenzie has been taking dance this year and Saturday was her recital. This week has been busy for her and me with the dress rehearsal and the big day etc..... I must admit that it was all worth it when she got on that stage and danced. She did a tap routine and a ballet routine. She was super excited that daddy brought her flowers. I looked at her on that stage and realized that she is growing up and I must admit I did have to fight back some tears.

Happy Birthday!!!!
Ava, Elyse
Happy Birthday Ava and Elyse!!!!
One year ago today we had twin girls. We knew they would be a lot of work but who knew they would be as fun as they are. We are blessed to have 3 girls that are healthy and happy. My girls are the light of my life and have been the best thing to happen to us. We enjoy them more and more each day. So Ava and Elyse "Happy Birthday". We love you!!!
Love, Mommy, daddy and Kenzie.

First haircut and first lollipop!!!!

If you know me then you know that I love my hairdresser, she ROCKS!!!. Only Ginger could cut a one year olds hair in a style. Elyse now has a shaped up bob in the back and Ava's is the same length in the back(still a little wild but no where near as bad as it was). As you have seen over the past year that my girls have a lot of hair, especially AVA!!! They got there first of many haircuts today. They also got a lollipop for the first time just to help keep them still, it worked wonders. Enjoy the pics!!!!

One week later!!!
Without going into a lot of detail this is Elyse exactly one week after major surgery. She looks GREAT!!! From being a nurse I know that kids bounce back fast but my daughter was a ROCK STAR!!!!! Oh by the way who knew that my husband was a carpenter. He built on to the existing play set and added two baby swings for the girls and that absolutely adore them. Thanks DADDY!!!!
