Couch Cushion!!

Hannah Montana!!!

So Mackenzie likes Hannah Montana and we just got the movie, needless to say we watched the movie twice that day. I caught the girls and Mackenzie dancing to the song at the end of the movie. Enjoy the performance. I also caught Mackenzie teaching and helping Ava slide down the couch cushion. The things my girls learn from there big sis. As you can see in the backgrond Mike is really enjoying the Hannah movie!! HaHa!! It is only beginning with a house of girls.

Yes this is what I found as I was getting groceries in. I guess we are going to have to find another chair like this.

They share the refrigerator as a chair, as you can see they have removed everything from the bottom door shelf.

Rare occasion that they share nicely.

Well lets see where to start. We have been busy with well just life. Mackenzie has started back to preschool and will start dance the beginning of Sept. Mike started school and well I have just been working as much as I can. I start my clinical teaching job the end of this month. The summer has been nice and laid back but it is time to get back in the swing of things. Just a few pics of what has kept me busy. That is called a almost five year old and 2 16 month olds that are very mobile and in to everything.

I caught the girls trying to put on my work shoes yesterday. I see they are going to be shoe girls just like Mackenzie, they already try to put her shoes on.

Boot Camp Swimming!!!

So Mackenzie just got finished with swimming lessons this week. She took from Janet Flemming in Burlington(yes we drove to Burlington everyday and it was well worth it). If you know Mackenzie or have ever heard the stories I tell she is a very hard headed and determined to do what she wants, I wonder where she gets that from? See this is a girl who never wanted to put her head in the water or jump off the side much less the diving board. So I decided to take her to swimming lessons. She did great all week, she would tell me what she was doing but would not show me at our pool. (we were not allowed to stay) So I thought here we go she is going to do it there but not with us. For example the other night I asked her if she was going to jump on the diving board at our pool and she said NO!!!!, I asked her why is she jumping off at lessons then, she said "Because I had too!!!" Needless to say on Friday when parents were allowed to stay and watch she did everything. We went to our pool that afternoon and she still did everything. We are so proud of her!!!! Janet is a very good teacher, she is stern and to the point but she gets kids to learn how to swim. If you want your kid to swim then I recommend her but she is not for the faint at heart.

So if anybody noticed Elyse had some strabismus going on. We had three choices with what to do to help fix this. We could have her wear glasses, she would never leave them on, we could do nothing and hope it would not effect her vision( it has not so far), or we could surgically fix it. We know that she had been through a lot in the last couple of months but we felt like it was best to fix it. Oh by the way the chance of my children wearing glasses is high anyway b/c Mike and I both wear glasses. So here is the before and after...... Once again she was a ROCKSTAR!! Before
6 hours after, the difference is amazing already.
