One week later!!!

Without going into a lot of detail this is Elyse exactly one week after major surgery. She looks GREAT!!! From being a nurse I know that kids bounce back fast but my daughter was a ROCK STAR!!!!! Oh by the way who knew that my husband was a carpenter. He built on to the existing play set and added two baby swings for the girls and that absolutely adore them. Thanks DADDY!!!!

We recently went to a birthday party at the Little Gym and the girls had a blast. Elyse thought she owned that place, she was trying her hardest to play with the big kids. Ava loved the balls and Mackenzie just loves gymnastics period!!!

I hope everybody had a good Easter, we did. We spent most of the day at my grandma's house on the farm(it is my dad's side of the family). This side of the family has a lot of young kids and Mackenzie loves playing with them. We are so lucky to have family so close. I can remember growing up and playing on the farm with my cousins and I am so glad and thankful that my girls will have the same great memories.

Hannah ho-down!!

So Mackenzie has been taking tap and ballet since August but who knew that she could do hip hop also. Keep in mind that mommy and daddy have no rhythm. So if any of you watch as much Disney as we do then you know there is a new movie coming out where Hannah does this hip hop dance so tonight they were on TV teaching kids how to do it. So enjoy the video of Kenzie doing the Hannah ho down. Sorry for the bad sound and some of the video this is what happens when the only thing quickly available is the cell phone.

Sorry it has been so long since the last update, we have just been busy. The girls are doing great as you can see, they are into everything. Elyse kindly pulled the plate off the table that had Mackenzie's pancakes and syrup and sat it on the floor for her and Ava's enjoyment the other day. That wan fun. So enjoy the pictures.
